RedStone Construction Group’s Story
In 1973 Mannie Lasiter founded what would become the RedStone Construction Group. We started as a small asphalt maintenance company dedicated to high-quality customer service. We were a very small, family-owned business – we didn’t even have an office. The whole family pitched in. Legend has it that Michael, Mannie’s son, was supervising crews by age 14!
In 1984, after graduating from high school, Michael joined full-time and worked to further his father’s vision – and we haven’t stopped growing since then! From a simple maintenance company to a full service, vertically integrated heavy construction group that owns and staffs three asphalt plants, two rock quarries, and a sand mine, RedStone has become a construction company capable of handling anything from completely rebuilding an interstate highway to massive commercial site work projects. No job is too small or too large for our expert craftsmen.
We employ over 300 people across multiple locations and we invest in the best training, equipment, and technology in the business. Although we’ve advanced further than the original owner could ever have dreamed, we still hold tight to the original Lasiter values – quality work at a fair price with excellent customer service.
