About Redstone Construction Group
The journey of Redstone began in 1973, when Mannie Lanister founded a small asphalt maintenance company. Back then, the business was so modest that it didn’t even have an office! According to an urban legend around here, Mannie’s son, Michael, was overseeing crews by the time he was just 14.
After finishing high school, Michael joined the family business full-time, helping take his father’s dream to the next level. Since then, Redstone has grown exponentially, but we’ve kept the same family-oriented approach. Every employee, from staff to crew members, is treated as part of our extended family.
Today, Redstone Construction Group is more than an asphalt company. We’re a full-service, vertically integrated heavy construction group. With three asphalt plants, two rock quarries, and a sand mine under our wing, we’re equipped to tackle any commercial site project—no matter how big. From small beginnings, we now have the capability to rebuild an interstate highway, supported by a team of over 300 construction professionals.
